Our most interesting and popular adventure tours take's the vivid traveller to places still undiscovered and unexplored. In some of these tours, you will experience travelling in motorized dugout canoes along the mighty Sepik River or staying in villages and mingle with the local people. Or do a four wheel drive (4WD) expedition to some of the rough terrains on well fitted troop carriers. For trekkers and climbers, one could join our mountaineering team or join the adventurous trekking and hiking trips in the highlands. An added adventure into the Huli country would be a bonus to suit one's desire for an adventure.

TOUR WST003A - HIGHLANDS EXPEDITION 4WD (10 DAYS/9 NIGHTS):

DAY 1 - SUNDAY
Arrive at the Jacksons airport Port Moresby. After customs and immigration formalities, you will be met, greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight: Gateway Hotel

DAY 2 - MONDAY (LD)
Transfer from your hotel to the Jacksons airport for your flight PX864 Port Moresby to Tari. Upon arrival at the Tari airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will spend the afternoon exploring the Tari town area and surrounding villages.
Overnight: Yangoman Guest House

DAY 3 - TUESDAY (BLD)
Today will be a full day exploring the great Tari Basin and surrounding villages. These people are great warriors who live in this great valley as they have for thousands of years. They are popularly known for their colourful face painting decorations and beautifully designed human hair wigs. The culture and traditions of these people are very unique and spectacular compared with other highlands provinces.

DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY (BLD)
Today you commence your 4WD expedition by travelling Tari to Wabag, in the Enga Province. Your travel will be via Kandep. Kandep is unique in that, it lies in a valley and it is all swampy with its beautiful lakes. The travel is through alpine grasslands and moss forest, going up and down on mountain slopes.
You arrive late afternoon into Wabag, the provincial capital town of the Enga Province and you settle into your hotel.

DAY 5 - THURSDAY (BLD)
Today you continue on your expedition of discovery into the central highlands of Mt Hagen and Jiwaka Provinces. In the morning, you visit the Enga Cultural centre in Wabag where historical items from various tribes in the Enga Province are kept together with beautiful sand paintings. After this you proceed to Mt Hagen, travelling through the Walya valley with beautiful natural waterfalls and the fast flowing rough Lai River.
You arrive in Mt Hagen, the provincial capital town of Western Highlands Province. Visit around the township and the colourful Mt Hagen market. After a visit to the market, you descend into the lush and fertile Waghi Valley clustered with large floats of tea, coffee plantations and village homesteads. You arrive in Banz, Jiwaka Province for an overnight.
Overnight: Jiwaka Mission Resort (2 nights)

DAY 6 - FRIDAY (BLD)
Today, you spend the day exploring this fertile Waghi Valley. Visits will be made to large tea and coffee plantations together with their factories. Tea and coffee are the main exports from this region, Visits to local villages and learn of their traditional cultures, lifestyle and cultural activities will also be added during the tour.

DAY 7 - SATURDAY (BL)
After a day's rest, your expedition commences by travelling along the Highlands Highway Banz to Goroka. Travel is through the Chimbu Province passing through Kundiawa town, the provincial capital town of Chimbu Province.
Arrive at the highest peak of Daulo Pass at (2748m) above sea level. From here you have an excellent view overlooking the Goroka town and the beautiful Asaro Valley. After a quick stop for views and lunch, you descend into the Asaro valley. At Asaro village, you will have the rare opportunity to see the eerie ritual performances of the famous mud mask men "Asaro Mud-men" performing in their natural environment.

DAY 8 - SUNDAY (L)
Today will be the final leg of your expedition. Depart Goroka for Lae, again continue your travel along the highlands highway with visits to Yonki Hydro Dam and passing through the winding Kassam Pass. You descend into the vast Markham Valley, where you will see herds of cows in wide cow paddocks.
After a tiring travel along this large valley, you arrive in Lae, the provincial capital of Morobe Province. Lae is the nation's industrial city and is the main seaport linking the highlands and the coast.

DAY 9 - MONDAY
This morning, you will visit the industrial city of Lae and surrounding areas. Your tour terminates at the Nadzab airport, Lae for your flight PX103 Lae to Port Moresby.
Upon arrival at the Jacksons airport in Port Moresby, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 10 - TUESDAY
Transfer to the Jacksons airport in Port Moresby for your international departure flight.

TOUR WST004A - SEPIK HIGHLANDS ODSSEY (13 DAYS/12 NIGHTS):

DAY 1 - WEDNESDAY
Arrive at the Jacksons airport in Port Moresby. After customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and transferred to your onward connecting flight PX128 Port Moresby to Wewak. Upon arrival at the Boram airport in Wewak, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight: Wewak Paradise Hotel

DAY 2 - THURSDAY (LD)
Today you will be travel along the Sepik highway Wewak to Pagwi in the Sepik River. Upon arrival at in Pagwi, mouth the of the Sepik River, you will be met by your local guide and board your waiting motorized dugout canoe for your 5 days/4 nights Sepik River canoe trip with accommodation in village huts staying with the locals.

DAY 3-5 - FRIDAY-SUNDAY (BLD)
These days are spent travelling along the mighty Sepik River with visits to villages along the Sepik River staying in village accommodations.

DAY 6 - MONDAY (BL)
Today will be your last day in the Sepik River and then you will be transferred back to Wewak by vehicle.

DAY 7 - TUESDAY (D)
Transfer to the Boram airport in Wewak for your flight CG8623 Wewak to Mt Hagen. Upon arrival at the Kagamuga airport in Mt Hagen, you will be met and transferred to Banz, Jiwaka Province.
Overnight: Waghi Guest House (2 nights)

DAY 8 - WEDNESDAY (BLD)
Today you will hike/trek around the villages around the Banz area, mingle with the local people and learn of their traditions, lifestyles, gardening, marital status and rituals. In the evening a cultural courting ceremony (Tanim Het & Karim Lek) performed at the guest house. This is where young boys and girls come together and perform to show their adulthood and they are ready for marriage.

DAY 9 - THURSDAY (BLD)
Today you travel Banz to Wabag via Mt Hagen. Travelling along the Nebilyer Valley and over the Tomba Pass, you descend into the Walya Valley with beautiful natural waterfalls and passing through the rough Lai River, you arrive in Wabag, the provincial capital town of Enga Province. Upon arrival in Wabag, a visit will be made to the Enga Cultural Centre (Taek Anda). Here you historical items from the different tribes in Enga with beautiful sand paintings are kept. Enga Province is unique in that, the entire population speak only one common local language while English and Pidgin as their second and third languages.

DAY 10 - FRIDAY (BLD)
Today you commence your expedition by travelling Wabag to Tari in the Hela Province. Your travel will be via Kandep. Transfer to the Tari airport for your flight PX865 Tari to Port Moresby. Upon arrival at the Jacksons airport in Port Moresby, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 13 - MONDAY
Transfer to the Jacksons airport Port Moresby for your international departure flight.

TOUR WST005A - MT WILHELM CLIMB (9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS):

DAY 1 - MONDAY (D)
Arrive at the Jacksons airport Port Moresby. After customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and transferred to your onward flight PX186 Port Moresby to Mt Hagen. Upon arrival at the Kagamuga airport in Mt Hagen, you will be met and transferred to Banz, Jiwaka Province.
Overnight: Waghi Guest House (2 nights)

DAY 2 - TUESDAY (BLD)
Today you will hike/trek around the villages in the Banz area and mingle with the local people and learn of their traditions, lifestyles and their way of living, gardening, marital status and rituals. DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY (BLD)
This morning, board your 4WD vehicle for a transfer from Banz to Kol in the Jimi district. Upon arrival at Kol, you will be met by your local guides and porters and commence your 4 days/3 nights trek to Mt Wilhelm via Ambullua. Accommodations with be in village accommodations and camping.

DAY 4/5 - THURSDAY/FRIDAY (BLD)
These days will be spent trekking to Mt Wilhelm.

DAY 6 - SATURDAY (BLD)
This morning will be an early start hiking/trekking to the summit of Mt Wilhelm. Arrive at the summit approximately 0600 am. After an hour's visit at the top of the summit, you return back to the base camp at Piunde/Aundo Lakes before fog takes cover.
Arrive at the base camp approximately 09:00 am and rest. After a rest and relaxation, you hike/trek downhill back to Kegsugl.
Overnight: Betty's Lodge

DAY 7 - SUNDAY (BL)
Today will be a four wheel drive (4WD) vehicle transfer Kegsugl to Goroka. Travel is through the picturesque beautiful Chimbu Gorge.
Overnight: Goroka Lodge

DAY 8 - MONDAY
Transfer to the Goroka airport, Goroka for your flight PX961 Goroka to Port Moresby. Upon arrival at the Jacksons airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today a half day city tour including visits to the National Parliament House (outside view only), National Museum, Nature Park and other sites of interest.
Overnight: Gateway Hotel

DAY 9 - TUESDAY
Transfer to the Jacksons airport Port Moresby for your international departure flight
